Mr. Spencer Ray Rinehart, age 80, of Salisbury passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 at the NC State Veterans Home of Salisbury.
He was born September 13, 1927 in Rowan County the son of the late Esther Irene Kluttz Rinehart and the late Amon Ray Rinehart. Mr. Rinehart was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a Veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Air Corps. He was the owner of Rinehart Home Builders and a member of Haven Lutheran Church.
Mr. Rinehart was preceded in death by his wife Mary Frances Talley Rinehart on June 19, 2007 and a daughter Jena Carol Rinehart September 7, 1985.
Survivors include son Jeffrey Lynne Rinehart and wife Katrinka of Mt. Airy; daughter Anne Bost and husband Kenneth Douglas of Salisbury; brother William (Bill) Rinehart and wife Joetta of Waynesville, NC; sisters Betty Yates of Salisbury and Phyllis Beck of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchild Brittany Rinehart; great grandchildren Cameron and Kylie Sharpe.
