ALBEMARLE - Vickie Carolyn Gaston, 60, of Albemarle, passed away March 1, 2013, at Bethany Woods.
Born Sept. 24, 1952, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Harrison Vanhoy and the late Mabel Cleo Barringer Vanhoy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Mabry.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherri Quinn and husband Eddie of Gastonia; sisters Cleo Shaver and husband Lee of Salisbury and Linda Zimmerle and husband Randy of Concord; and two grandchildren, Vanessa Quinn and Leslie Quinn.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Saturday, March 2 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, 6-8 p.m. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her sister, Cleo Shaver, 580 Sides Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.
Service: The funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel Sunday, March 3 at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Misenheimer.
Memorials: May be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 46963 Wesley Chapel Road, Misenheimer, NC 28109.
