Sunday, June 3, 2007 — Onarrah Sue Furr Morris, 82, of 319 Palmer St., Albemarle, formerly of Richfield, died at 5:52 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, in NorthEast Medical Center. Her funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday with a 30-minute state in Richfield Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Dale Collingwood and The Rev. Nancy M. Morris will officiate and burial will be in Richfield Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle.

Born July 13, 1924, in Stanly County, she was daughter of the late Luther F. and Esther Lambert Furr and was a retired quality inspector for Richfield Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Richfield Baptist Church. Her stepmother, Maggie Belle Biles Furr, three brothers, Horace Scarborough, Melvin Furr and Roy Burris, and a son-in-law, David C. Morgan, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Willard W. Morris of Albemarle; a son, Phillip Morris and wife, the Rev. Dr. Nancy M. Morris of Roanoke, Va.; a daughter, Denice Morris Morgan of Richfield; five sisters, Sarah Carter of Kannapolis, Marie Cauble of Mt. Pleasant, Mae Morgan and Doris Morgan, both of Richfield and Nell Moucka of Concord; and five grandchildren, Steven C. and Keith Morgan, and Rachel, Jeffrey and Benjamin Morris.
