Cecelia Lambert Sells

Cecelia Lambert Sells, 75, of Albemarle, passed away July 2, 2015 in Carolina Medical Center Main, Charlotte, N.C. Her funeral service will be 11 AM Monday, July 6, 2015 at West Albemarle Baptist Church with Rev. Adam Hatley and Rev. Delane Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Stanly Funeral Home.

Born December 31, 1939 in Stanly County, N.C, she was the daughter of the late Berry Lambert and Geneva Smith Lambert. She was a member of West Albemarle Baptist Church where she was active in Sunday School and helped with the funeral meal services. Mrs. Sells was a homemaker and formerly worked at Stony Gap Fish House.

Mrs. Sells is survived by her husband John “Bill” Sells of the home. She is also survived by her four children John Dwain Sells, Jr. and wife Geralyn of Lakeland, FL., Darlene S. Burris and husband Rev. Delane of Albemarle, N.C., Derek Sells and wife Angela of Matthews, N.C. and Daniel Sells of Belmont, N.C., two sisters Shelia Lowder of New London, N.C. and Juanita Thompson of Albemarle, N.C., five grandchildren Alicia Bailey, Brandon Burris, Jason Sells, Lauren Sells and Tyler Sells, three great grandchildren Landon Bailey, Maci Bailey and Colton Burris.

Memorials may be made to West Albemarle Baptist Church.
