TRINITY - T. Keith White, 78, of Hoover Hill Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting, where he was a member, with the Rev. Randall A. Quate, the Rev. Reece Wall and the Rev. Doug Davis officiating. Burial will be in the meeting cemetery with military rites by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
He was a native of Randolph County, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a retired plantation superintendent with Chevron Oil Co. in Hardeeville, S.C., and a retired plumber. He was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class at his church, a former member of the water and soil conservation, a former game warden and a collector of and speaker on Civil War artifacts.
Surviving are wife, Emma Hill White of the home; daughter, Renee White of Trinity; brothers, Ray White, J.V. "Buck" White and Charles White, all of Archdale, Bobby White of Asheboro; sisters, Mary Lee Morgan, Doris Canter, Carol Hicks, Rachel Hunsucker, all of Archdale, Sarah Ann Earnhardt of Emerald Isle.
The family will be at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, High Point Unit, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, N.C. 27407.
