GOLD HILL - Mr. Bill Daniel Page, 78, of Gold Hill passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at his home.
Born June 19, 1933 in Union County, Mr. Page was the son of the late George Lee and Hester Lula Page.
Mr. Page served 23 years in the United States Air Force and made brick for Old Carolina Brick Company. He trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Bill is survived by his wife Dorothy Borders Page, whom he married June 9, 1995; step-son, Jeffrey Weaver of Bonifay, Fla.; step-daughters Tammy Lewis and husband Tim of Blairsville, Ga., Lisa Kemp and husband Bobby of Gold Hill and Michelle Smith and husband Robert of Salisbury; brother, Jimmy David Page of Locust; sisters, Ida Elizabeth Ezell of Ft. Mill, S.C., Georgie Lula Carlton of Concord and Polly Jane Anderson and husband Andy of Great Falls, S.C.; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan.30, 2012 at Safe Harbor Baptist Church.
Services: Memorial services will be 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at Safe Harbor Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Rick Perry. Military Graveside Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Statesville Blvd. by the Rowan County Military Honor Guard and the North Carolina National Guard.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Safe Harbor Baptist Church, 270 Dunns Mtn Church Road, Salisbury, NC.
