LANDIS - Jennings D. Ramseur Sr., 85, of N.C. Lutheran Home, Salisbury, formerly of 802 S. Zion St. died August 2, 1993, at the nursing home.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, by Rev. Graham NaHouse. Entombment will be in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
A native of York, S.C., son of the late George Dodson and Callie Whitaker Ramseur, he was educated in the Rowan County Schools, and retired from Linn-Corriher Corp. after 53 years.
Surviving are wife, Viola Eagle Ramseur of Lutheran Home, Salisbury; daughter, Nancy R. Marlow of Greensboro; brother, Walter Ramseur of Landis; sisters, Lela Pless of Landis, Alma Ramseur of Salisbury, Essie Kirk of China Grove, Sarah Witherspoon of Kannapolis; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
The family will be at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home 7-8:30 tonight.
