Jerry R. Thomason, 70, of Salisbury passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
He was born November 7, 1943 in Rowan County, the son of the late Della May Bullabough and Bruner R. Thomason.
Jerry was a wrought iron worker and Methodist by denomination. He loved fishing, putting together puzzles, and gardening. Jerry also loved his cats and his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandson.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Langness Thomason, whom he married March 21, 1978; daughters, Penny Thomason Carter (Troy) and Robin Belk (James), both of Salisbury; grandchildren, Timothy, Justin, and Tyler Belk; great-grandchild, Zane Yost.
