Terry Gene Plowman, 65, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 in his home. His funeral service will be 5 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon at Stanly Funeral Home from 4 until 5 PM prior to the funeral service.
Born May 1, 1949 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of Lessie Harwood Plowman of Albemarle and the late Lloyd Eugene Plowman. He formerly attended Centerview Baptist Church.
Survivors include three uncles James Plowman of Albemarle, Ray Plowman of Mt. Pleasant and Carl Lee Plowman of Florida, a number of cousins and a very special friend Rob Breading of Girdwood, Alaska. He was preceded in death by his brothers Cleveland Plowman and Lloyd E. Plowman, Jr., and his sister Mary Katherine Plowman.
