Molly R. Hill

Molly R. Hill, 87, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Mrs. Hill was born on August 15, 1927 in Cramerton a daughter of the late James and Etta Honeycutt Reid.

Mrs. Hill attended the Rutherfordton Schools and with her husband, James, was the owners and operators of Hill's Bait and Tackle Shop. She attended Liberty United Methodist Church, enjoyed her flower garden and loved taking care of her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alvin hill and a son, James Donald Hill.

Survivors include sons, Alvin Ronald Hill and wife, Paula of Rockwell; Gary Wayne Hill of Salisbury; and daughter, Barbara Sue Tomlinson of Salisbury; brother Walter Reid of Kannapolis; sister, Lib Garnett of Salisbury; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00 till 11:00 AM Wednesday at Liberty United Methodist Church.

Services: Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Liberty United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Charlie Curtis, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
