Cecil Melton Troutman, 58 years of age, of Concord passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at his residence.
Cecil was born March 1, 1956 in Cabarrus County N.C. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Collins Troutman
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Arlington Baptist Church, 9801 Arlington Church Road in Charlotte. The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Arlington Baptist Church officiated by Senior Pastor Rev. Steve Gandy and Rev. Rick Whittier. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include mother, Blanche Troutman of Midland; his twin brother, Charles and wife Lu-Anne Troutman of Harrisburg; and a number of other family members.
Cecil was a Senior FPO Business Analyst for over 33 years with Duke Energy. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church where he had served as Church Treasurer for over 30 years and was involved in mission work in Honduras, Romania and the United States; served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and worked with the youth of the church for many years. Cecil worked with local shelters to help minister and serve homeless families.
