Tommy Asbury Hartsell, 74 years of age, of Midland, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Mr. Hartsell was born August 7, 1940 in Cabarrus County, N. C. to the late Bailey Hartsell and the late Ethel Page Hartsell. He was also preceded in death by brother, Wade Hartsell.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland . The memorial service will follow officiated by Rev. Don Lisk in the chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ruth Hartsell of Midland; daughter, Tracy Janelle Hartsell of Midland; step-daughter, Christine Elaine Parker of Hickory; stepsons, Darrell Lynn Roberts of Stanfield and Michael Wayne (Tracy) Roberts of Bath, Maine; brother, Billy Ray (Sharon) Hartsell of Midland; sister, Mary (Sam) Hopkins of Midland; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
