Brownie Fisher Stirewalt
Brownie Fisher Stirewalt, 93, of Rockwell, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.
She was born September 16, 1928 in Rowan County, NC to the late Luther and Agnus Miller Fisher. Brownie worked as a Inspector in the Sheet Department for Cannon Mills and also previously volunteered at the Nutrition Meal Site at Grace Lowerstone Church.
Brownie was a life long member of Organ Lutheran Church. She was dedicated to the care of her daughter Reba for 61 years. She was a wonderfull mother. She also enjoyed quilting and trips to the beach.
In addition to her parents, Brownie was preceded in death by her Husband, Emmitt "Gene" Stirewalt, Sisters, Louise Stirewalt and Catherine Steele and also by her Granddaughter, Julie Ann Christopher.
Brownie is survived by Son, Steven Lee Stirewalt and his wife of 50 years, Karen; Daughter, Reba Marlene Stirewalt; great grandson, Emmitt Christopher; and special long time friend, Bryant Waller.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, December 17, 2021, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Organ Lutheran Church.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 17, 2021, in the Organ Lutheran Church with Pastor Tom Corbell officiating.
Burial will take place in the Organ Lutheran Church Cemetery following the church service.
