ROCKWELL -- Sarah Shue Catlett, 66, Rockwell, died Sunday (Aug. 15, 2004) at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.
Born Aug. 22, 1937, in Rowan County, Mrs. Catlett was a daughter of the late Gilbert Lee and Helen Goodman Shue. She was a 1955 graduate of Rockwell High School and a 1958 graduate of Cabarrus School of Nursing.
Employed with Dr. Elizabeth Lombard at Rockwell Medical Clinic for more than 39 years, she was a registered nurse. She was a member of Grace Bible Church.
Survivors include husband L.B. "Cat" Catlett, whom she married Nov. 2, 1958; son Dennis Randal "Randy" Catlett, Rockwell; daughter Laura C. Delaney, Rockwell; brother Norman Shue, Albemarle; sister Mary Vaughn, Rockwell; and three grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Grace Bible Church, conducted by the Rev. Alan Misenheimer. Burial, Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 tonight, Powles Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of sister Mary Vaughn, Rockwell.
Memorials: Grace Bible Church, Missionary Fund or Youth Center Fund, Rockwell, NC; or American Cancer Society.
