Patricia Blalock
Patricia Page Blalock, 80, of Albemarle passed away Wednesday January 28, 2015 in her home.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Adam Hatley officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the hour of the funeral service.
Born December 1, 1934 in Stanly County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Carl Lee Page and Evelyn Hatley Page and was a retired ER Clerk at Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. She was a member of West Albemarle Baptist Church.
She was married to the late Clyde Hathcock Blalock, who preceded her in death in 2009.
Survivors include daughter Amanda B. Howell and husband Kenneth of Albemarle, son Douglas Ray Blalock and wife Pamela of Albemarle, sisters Pansy P. Hill of Badin and Sue P. Boyer of Charlotte, stepdaughter Nina Williamson of Mt. Gilead, and a grandson Garrett Howell.
A stepson, Rickey L. Blalock, and a sister, Marlene Hamilton, preceded her in death.
The family requests that memorials be made to West Albemarle Baptist Church or to Hospice of Stanly County.
