Mary Faye "Pat" Frick
Mrs. Frick of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully in her sleep, hand and hand with our Lord on April 17, 2011 at Sharon Towers Retirement Community. She was predeceased by her loving husband Dewey A. Frick.
Pat was born October 16, 1920 in Whiteville, NC to Charles Coatsworth Moore and Mary Rankin Moore.
Mrs. Frick was the last living member of a large family. She had five half-sisters, Altha, Lillian, Hassie, Clara, and Ferrell; brothers, Ralph, George, Hal, Don, Robert, and Bill; sisters, Elizabeth and Mildred.
Pat moved to Charlotte in the late 1940's. She worked in the Time Payment Department of Wachovia Bank until her retirement in 1960.
In 1957, she married Dewey A. Frick. They were active and very devoted members of Carmel Presbyterian Church. They loved traveling and were very proud to have traveled all over the world.
She is survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; as well as her beloved four legged friend and companion, Spanky.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Carmel Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park will be private.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to her second family, the staff and residents of Sharon Towers for their kindness shown to Pat while in their care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Evelyn Davis Medical Assistance Fund, in Care of Carmel Presbyterian Church, Charlotte, NC.
