Cody Myers
KANNAPOLIS - Mr. Cody Clinton Myers, 78, of Kannapolis, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Davie County to the late Lewis Cody Myers and Ruth McIntyre Myers.
Mr. Myers was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and later obtained his private pilot's license. He worked for Spencer Shops, Goodyear, and later with Schneider Freight as a truck driver. Mr. Myers enjoyed traveling to the beach and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Myers.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nolie Honeycutt Myers; sons Clinton Cody Myers and Dale Clayton Myers, both of Kannapolis, and Lewis Bryon Myers of China Grove; and grandchildren Dara Myers, Cody Myers, Alex Myers and Eli Myers.
Memorials: May be made to Optimist International, 4494 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108.
Carolina Cremation of Salisbury and Charlotte is assisting the family.
