HIGH POINT W. Harold Hearne, 89, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at the High Point Regional Hospital.
Harold was born in Albemarle, January 23, 1924, son of Joel and Jennie Morgan Hearne. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, retired from Alma Desk and then from Ulmanique at the age of 86. He was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and an avid gardener.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Kipps Hearne and four brothers.
He is survived by his dog Moses; his two daughters, Jennie and Sarah Hearne; and his siblings, Norman Hearne, Novella Roberson and Edith Briggs.
A celebration of Harold's life will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. by Pastor Jennifer Krushas. Family will receive friends following the service.
Memorials should be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1401 Heathcliff Rd., High Point, NC.
