Bill Ray Lovette, age 85, of Asheboro died unexpectedly Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Bill was born January 24, 1936, the son of Jesse and Frieda Goodman Lovette.
Bill was a native of Salisbury, NC, and a US Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters: Debra Cornelison and her husband, Dwight, of Lexington, NC, and Martha Frye and her husband Farrell of Westerville, OH; grandchildren: Hannah Moore and Vince Cornelison and James Frye; three sisters: Dorothy (Jimmy) Peacock of Kannapolis, NC; Sarah Welch of Salisbury, NC and Louise (Rick) Parks of Kernersville, NC and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive socially distanced friends Monday, April 12, 2021, from 11:30 AM-12:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will follow at 1:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at Back Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery, 147 Back Creek Church Road, Asheboro, immediately following service.
