Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 14, 2000 at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel with Rev. Les Schofield and Rev. Gary Waisner officiating. Burial in Canton Baptist Church Cemetery, Albemarle, N.C. Visitation is 7:00-9:00 P.M. Saturday, May 13, 2000 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle, N.C.
Mr. Bunting was born April 10, 1943 in Stanly County, N.C. and a self-employed Electrician. The Son of Mattie Waisner Bunting and the late Edward Glenn Bunting, he was owner and operator of Bunting Electric Company, a member of Canton Baptist Church, Gideon International, Stanly South Camp, and a State Faith Fund Coordinator for NC Gideons.
He is survived by his wife, Treva Almond Bunting of the home; mother, Mattie Waisner Bunting of Daytona Beach, FL; son, Jeff D. Bunting of Mt. Pleasant, NC; brother, Bobby Bunting, Sr. of Pitkin, LA; sister, Jewell `Deanie` Ray of Ormond Beach, FL; 1 grandson.
Memorials may be made to Gideon International.
The family will be at the home, 2015 Mt. Creek Road., Albemarle, N.C.
Hartsell-Albemarle Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
