Nettie Moore Eagle
KANNAPOLIS --The funeral will be Friday for Nettie Mae Moore Eagle, 88, formerly of Leonard Avenue, who died Tuesday (Jan. 27, 2004) at Avante at Concord.
Born July 26, 1915, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Eagle was a daughter of the late James Lee and Ila Mae Blackwelder Moore. She retired from Cannon Mills Plant 1 No. 1 weave room.
Her husband, Allie Edmond "Ed" Eagle, died March 23, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, Roy A. Eagle.
Survivors include daughter Shirley Juanita Eagle Moffitt, Kannapolis; son Earl E. "Gene" Eagle, Kannapolis; sisters Mary Barrier, Lala Mosley and Beulah Leigh, all of Concord; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Lady's Funeral Home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Johnnie Morton and the Rev. Dale Eagle. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7-9 tonight at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of son Gene Eagle, 921 Klondale Ave.
