Delma Baity
Delma Rose Corl Baity, 92, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at her residence.
Born on December 20, 1930 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Austin Corl and Lena Jackson Corl.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Boyd Gilbert Baity, who died on September 19, 1988; one daughter, Dawn Baity; grandson, Philip Austin Baity and her sister, Doris Hudson, also preceded her in death.
Delma graduated from Granite Quarry High School in 1949 and spent her life as a homemaker. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
She will be remembered for her love of family and the outdoors. She loved to cook and was a very independent woman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Carl Philip Baity (Wendy); daughter, Emily Baity Snider; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Arrangements: Private services were held for the family and Mrs. Baity was laid to rest beside her husband at Faith Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Baity family.
