Beverly Wagoner Alexander, 57 of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Born April 16, 1960 in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Edward Marvin Wagoner, Sr. and Shirley Sue Poole Wagoner.
Mrs. Alexander graduated from Feltwell High School in England and Rowan Cabarrus Community College.
She was employed at the W. G. Hefner VA Medical Center for 16 years before becoming disabled.
She was a former member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Rodney Wagoner and Shana Wagoner both of Salisbury, sister, Barbara Fuller (Todd) of Mocksville; brothers, Edward Marvin Wagoner, II. (Chaing) of Roanoke, VA and Matthew Rae Wagoner (Angela) of Shallotte; step children, Basil Baker, of Salisbury and Lisa Johnson of Johnson City, TN grandchildren, Jazeer Wagoner, Destiny Wagoner, Za’Niyah Wagoner, Tyiana Bazkec Lizzy Alexander, Kamani Wagoner, RaKash Wagoner, Ky’Leigh Wagoner, Alena Wagoner, Kamari Wagoner, Tyler Baker and Marianna Johnson.
The family will receive friends 1-2 PM - Wednesday (Jan. 24) at the Summersett Funeral Home and will be at the residence at other times.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM - Wednesday at Summersett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Harris officiating. Interment will follow at City Memorial Park.
Summersett Funeral Home is serving the Alexander family.
