Mrs Jennie Frances Weaver Snyder, 89 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at Spring Arbor of Albemarle.
Jennie was born November 25, 1924 in Mt Pleasant, NC to the late William Monroe Weaver and the late Aribelle Betsy Allman Weaver. She was also preceded in death by husband, William Wilson Snyder; brother, Johnny M. Weaver; seven sisters, Emma Black, Ida Mae Furr, Bertha Drye, Mamie Elwood, Daisy Klutz, Ann Allman, and Lula Klutz.
Mrs. Snyder proudly served her country during World War II. Her military career of over 30 years consisted of two tours of active duty and civil service.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle and will be officiated by Rev. Sid Martin. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery of China Grove.
Survivors include daughter, Virginia Faye Snyder Aiello and husband Tom of Lilburn, GA; granddaughter, Fran Falco and husband Brian of TX; and great grandchildren, John, Ben, and Jason.
Memorials may be made to Badin Baptist Church, 28 Falls Road, Badin, NC 28009.
