Ronald Keith Hatley, 71 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his home.
Ronald was born September 13, 1943 in Stanly County to the late Paul Green Hatley and the late Essie Fannie Burris Hatley. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Rayvon Hatley.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the church sanctuary officiated by Rev. Dr. Wayne Bennett. The burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Debra Hatley, and Donna Hatley, both of Pensacola, FL; son, Ron Hatley and wife Katie of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Samantha Hatley, Savannah Hatley, and Alexandra Hatley; brother, Dean Hatley and wife Debbie of Albemarle; sisters, Louise Lorch and husband Melvin, Julia Brooks, both of Oakboro, Wilma Thompson of Colorado, and Glenda Gilstrap of Albemarle.
Ronald served his country honorably as a Security Force Specialist and retired from the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant.
