Hilda Lorraine Null Ingold
Hilda Lorraine Null Ingold, affectionately known as “Mimi”, 89, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Virginia Casey Center at Trinity Oaks.
Born in Iredell County on April 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert Guy Null and Helen Nash Null.
Hilda graduated Boyden High School – Class of 1945. She worked for a time at Duke Power as a secretary and for Wallace Realty part-time. But her heart was being a wife, full-time mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a long-time PTA mom with the Salisbury Schools and was a very active member of Stallings Memorial Baptist Church since 1950.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert Lee Ingold, who passed away in 2007 and a granddaughter, Destiny Leigh Lefler.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Lynn Ingold Cauble, Cherie Ingold Lefler, both of Salisbury and Wendy Ingold Stephenson of Athens, GA; grandchildren: Nathaniel Robert Cauble (Lindsey), Branson Neil Lefler (Jennifer), Lynsay Cauble Barnes (Lonnie), West Alexander Lefler (Kori), Bryttani Cauble Stebich (Andrew) and Nealeigh Lefler Whitley (Dylan) and great-grandchildren, Lilleigh and Robert Lefler, Karlee Miller and Drew Lefler and a baby girl expected in January 2019, Maddux Barnes; Ray and Blair Stebich.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 8, 2018 from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM at Summersett Funeral Home.
The funeral service honoring Hilda’s life will begin at 2:00 PM in the Summersett Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Trexler officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Casey Center at Trinity Oaks, Salisbury, NC; or to Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, Charlotte, NC.
