Member of the Blue Knights New York Chapter X and was Sgt. at Arms. Member of Gold Wing Association, Rockwell, NC. Member of Classic Cruisers, Long Island, NY. Loved his family more than life.
Survived by his wife, Vicki McDonald Lomax; son, John Boyce Lomax, Jr. of Gold Hill, NC; daughter, Victoria Lomax Fouts of Gold Hill, NC; his parents, Isabelle Fraser Lomax and Boyce Lomax of Gold Hill, NC; brother, Robert Wade Lomax of Aripeka, FL and sister MaryAnn Waddell Lyerly of Gold Hill, NC. Also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Services 3 pm Sunday at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel, Rockwell, NC, Rev. Wade Thomas Lomax, Pastor of Old Country Baptist Church officiating. Visitation 1:30-3 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN appreciated.
