Stella Fesperman

Mrs. Stella Louise Fesperman, 90, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Autumn Care in Salisbury. She was born March 28, 1924, in Rowan County to the late Harvey Clarence and Amanda Trexler Cauble.

Stella was a graduate of Granite Quarry High School, worked for Cannon Mills, and retired from Carolina Maid. A lifelong member of Union Lutheran Church, she enjoyed gardening, attending her grandchildren's ballgames, and loved being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Hugh Fesperman; two brothers, Baxter Cauble and Ray Cauble; and sister, Virgie Barringer.

Stella is survived by her two sons, Larry Wayne Fesperman and wife, Judy of Salisbury, and Gary Hugh Fesperman and wife, Luann of Salisbury; brother, John Cauble of Salisbury; grandchildren, Mikel Ann Mason and husband, Chris, Ritchie Fesperman, James Fesperman and wife, Renee, and Melissa Fesperman and partner, Marie Gaster; great-grandchildren, Smith Mason, Adam Fesperman, and Hailey Fesperman.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 15, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Dutch Meeting Hall at Union Lutheran Church.

The service will follow at 5:00 PM Sunday at Union Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. David Nuottila, pastor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
