Lucille A. Wagner, 100, of Swannanoa, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022.
Lucille was born December 20, 1921 in Rowan County, NC to the late David and Elma Agner. She lived most of her life in Buncombe County, retiring from Drexel Manufacturing and being a life-long member of First Baptist Church, Swannanoa.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Wagner; brother, James Agner and sisters, Jane Waller and Joanne Cooper.
Lucille is survived by her sons, Scotty Wagner and Eddie Wagner; sister, Shirley Raymond and brothers, Ben and Hubert Agner.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 3, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at First Baptist Church, Swannanoa with a Celebration of Life service immediately following.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Swannanoa, 503 Park St., Swannanoa, NC.
