Mrs. Kathy Eagle Patterson
Mrs. Kathy Eagle Patterson, 55 of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at her residence. Kathy was born May 24, 1955 in Rowan County, daughter of the Beatrice Eagle Troutman and the late Roy Eagle, Sr. .
Mrs. Patterson attended the Rowan County Schools and Rowan Technical College. She was a veteran of the United States Army. She was formally employed by the VA Medical Center as a Pharmacy Technician. Mrs. Patterson was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her brother, Tim Eagle.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her mother, Beatrice Eagle Troutman, husband, Roy Patterson whom she married December 15, 1989, son, Johnny Patterson of China Grove, daughters, Jamie Patterson of Salisbury, Chrystal Powers of Lexington, brothers, Roy Eagle, Jr. of Rockwell, Dale Eagle of Rockwell, sister, Lana Rattz of China Grove and 7 grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Boulevard, conducted by Rev. James Messer. Military Graveside rites will be conducted by the Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard and the NC National Guard.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Powles Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
