Lynda Boger
Lynda Moose Boger, 71, of Mt. Pleasant, NC, passed away, Monday, April 7, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral service will be 4:00pm Thursday (Apr. 10) at Bethel (Bear Creek) United Church of Christ, officiated by Rev. Craig Scott; burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Boger family will receive friends Wednesday (Apr. 9) from 5-7pm at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. Boger was born January 10, 1943 in Stanly County, NC daughter of the late John Forrest Moose and Mary Alice Kluttz Moose. She was a member of Bethel (Bear Creek) United Church of Christ, where she served on the Historical Committee. During her life she worked at Nationwide Insurance, Town Clerk for Mt. Pleasant and Harrisburg, after retirement, she loved being a caregiver of the elderly. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Bobby Lee Lentz and also a brother Jerry Moose.
She is survived by her husband Howard Boger, daughters, Terri Scott and husband Craig of Norwood, Amy Lowder and husband Kent of Mt. Pleasant and Lori Shue and Jason of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren, Austin and Abby Shue, Chloe, Ava and Silas Lowder.
Memorials may be directed to Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Library, 8556 Cook St., Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124.
