Ruby Glenn Hatley

Ruby Glenn Kelley Hatley, age 91 of Albemarle, passed away at Stanly Manor on May 11, 2010.

She was born September 3, 1918 in Stanly County to the late Glenn Dean Kelley and Pearlie Ethel Rogers Kelley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady Jurrant Hatley in 1969.

She was a retired from Granite Quarry Dry Cleaners as a manager. She was a member of Centerview Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 at from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle.

Funeral service will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle. Rev. Mike Almond and Rev. Charles Spivey officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.

The family will meet at the home of son, Steve Hatley, 24046 Sam Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001.

She is survived by sons, Henry Glenn Gardner of Grapevine, TX, Steven Grady Hatley and wife Linda of Albemarle; daughters, Peggy H. Mourino and husband Al of Winston-Salem, Elizabeth “Libby” Jane Miller and husband David of New London; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Boyce Worth Lomax of Rockwell, NC, Tom Lomax of Richfield; sisters, Hilda L. Frick of Albemarle and Lois L. Goodman of Gold Hill, NC.
