Brady Gray Reavis

Brady Gray Reavis, 86, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC.

He was born December 27, 1934 in Salisbury, NC to Notley Parks Reavis and Mary Gray Reavis. Brady served in the United States Marine Corps as a Drill Sergeant receiving many medals including Good Conduct, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and Korean Service Medal. He retired from the VA Hospital and was owner/operator of Used TV and Appliance Center in Granite Quarry. Brady devoted his whole life to his kids, loved spending time with his family, and his death is a huge loss for his community and all who knew him. He was a founding member of Destination Hope Church.

In addition to his parents, Brady was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Reavis, and granddaughter, Christa Reavis.

Brady is survived by his three sons, Michael Gray (Denise) Reavis of Salisbury, NC, Brady Darrell (Annette) Reavis of Salisbury, NC, and Rodney Lee Reavis of Salisbury, NC; five grandchildren, Alesia (Andrew) Hill of Salisbury, NC, Joanna Lomax of Salisbury, NC; Brady (Taylor) Reavis of Salisbury, NC, Preston Quinn Reavis of Arlington, VA, and Spencer Gray Reavis of Arlington, VA; and four great-grandchildren, Korbynne Hill, Alden Lomax, Noah Lomax, and Beau Reavis.

The family will greet friends and relatives on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, 11:00 am - 11:45 am at Destination Hope Church, 904 N Salisbury GQ Ave, Granite Quarry, NC 28146. Casual dress encouraged.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in the Destination Hope Church, with Pastor Michael Reavis, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
