Linda Janelle Eudy Wiley, 66 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her home.
Janelle was born October 17, 1948 in Stanly County to the late Lawson Leander Eudy and the late Cora Belle Herrin Eudy. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Worth and Jerry Eudy.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday at Red Cross Baptist Church, 112 W. Red Cross Rd., Oakboro officiated by Rev. Josh Fraley and Rev. Garry Baker. She will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times the family will be gathering at the home.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Dennis Lee Wiley of the home; sons, Chuck Wiley and wife Pam of Stanfield, Chad Wiley and Kym of Oakboro, ; grandchildren, Justin Wiley and wife Courtney, Ashlyn Wiley, both of Red Cross, Matthew Wiley, and Torrye Wiley, both of Oakboro; brothers, Doyle Eudy and wife Sylvia of New London, Arnold Eudy, and Hal Eudy and wife Kathryn, both of Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law, Margie Eudy of Locust; and mother-in-law, Myrtle N. Smith of Oakboro.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, or Red Cross Baptist Church.
