SALISBURY - Clifford Roy Kesler, 70, of Salisbury went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014.
Born July 30, 1943 in Gold Hill, he is the son of the late Lester Kesler and Cora Ludwig Kesler.
Educated in the county schools he was a veteran with 26 years in the US Marine Corp. Retired from Hoechst Celanese as a supervisor.
Survivors include sons, Keith Kesler of Salisbury, Perry Kesler and wife Kim of Kannapolis and Conway Kesler of Rockwell; daughters, April Funderburk of Concord and Rhonda Kesler of Smithville, Va.; brothers, Herman, Pete and Buck Kesler of Salisbury, Terry Kesler of Raleigh; sister, Ruby Jean Harwood of Salisbury; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Service:Funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Linn Honeycutt Chapel in China Grove. Burial will take place at the National Cemetery in Salisbury at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014.
Visitation: Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Linn Honeycutt Chapel in China Grove.
