His long and illustrious 40 consecutive years of active duty military service included tours in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. His highly decorated career is punctuated with 23 medals, and other awards and honors far too numerous to list.

One of his favorite memories of WWII was being selected from an elite group to serve as General Eisenhower's personal guard in Europe.

By the time the Korean conflict began he was already an officer. He held command positions in the United States, Asia, Europe and Canada and was recognized for his remarkable service and abilities by numerous Presidents, Kings and Queens.
