KANNAPOLIS - Mrs. Gladys Page Figgins, 78, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008, at her home. A visitation will be held Monday, May 26, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Leon Hawks will preside over services.
Gladys was born in Union County March 8, 1930, to the late Leander Page and the late Mary Jane (Haigler) Page. She worked at Cannon Mills' Brown Mill as a weaver.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Ervin and significant other, James Heim, of Westerville, Ohio; granddaughter, Gloria Earnhardt Love and husband, Todd, of Kannapolis; great-grandson, Cage Cordell Love; daughter, Cathy L. Haigler and husband, Thomas, of Mint Hill; granddaughter, Dawn Eudy and husband, Kevin, of Mount Pleasant; grandson, Brandon Morton and wife, Angela, of Locust; and other loved ones, Tammy, Jimmy and Lee Earnhardt and Carolyn Love.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Dallas, TX.
