Carrie Senora Misenheimer

Mrs. Carrie Senora Kluttz Misenheimer, 85 of Rockwell died May 20, 2007 at the Mecklenburg Health Care in Charlotte.

Mrs. Misenheimer was born December 20, 1921 in Cabarrus County daughter of the late Rufus Kluttz and Carrie Holshouser Misenheimer. She was a graduate of Rockwell High School and Pfeiffer University. She was a member of the Grace Lowerstone Church, was a former Sunday School Teacher, and did various other jobs within the church.

Mrs. Misenheimer had worked for Elise’s Dress Shop in Rockwell, and was bookkeeper for the Rockwell Feed Service.

Mrs. Misenheimer was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Misenheimer who died January 8, 2003, and a brother, George Kluttz, who died in 1992.

She is survived by a son, William Misenheimer and his wife Terri Misenheimer of Fort Mill, S.C. and a granddaughter, Amber Misenheimer of Fort Mill, S.C.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Grace Lowerstone Church, conducted by the Rev. Kevin Gilliam, Pastor with burial in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Powles Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Tuesday.
