Thursday, May 25, 2006 — Joyce Christine Page Hinson, 67, of 1468 Riley St., Albemarle, died at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2006, in Stanly Regional Medical Center. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Pope and The Rev. Jesse Dennis will officiate and burial will be in Oakboro Cemetery. Born March 3, 1939, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late William “Bill” and Bessie Efird Page and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. A granddaughter, Ariel Corrine Furr, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Billy Wade Hinson of the home; two sons, Billy Wade Hinson Jr. and Timothy Paul Hinson, both of Albemarle; three daughters, Debbie Veronica Leslie of Denton, Kathy Christine Baldwin of Stanley and Amy Jo Hinson of Albemarle; 11 grandchildren, Cassie Hinson, Amanda Hinson, Kimberly Peck, Timothy Peck, Amber Davis, Alisha York, Seth Dixon, Chanda Smith, Emery Carter, Dray Carter and Gaden Burleson; three brothers, Thomas Page, Robert Page and Albert Page, all of Albemarle; two sisters, Blanche Miller and Mattie Ruth Miler, both of Albemarle; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First., Albemarle, NC 28001.
