Tuesday, February 12, 2008 — Blanche Ruby Page Miller, 76, of 1491 Hilltop St., Albemarle, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, in Stanly Regional Medical Center. Her funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Jesse Dennis will officiate and burial will be in Oakboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday Born May 12, 1931, in Union County, she was a daughter of the late William and Bessie Efird Page and was a seamstress for Wiscassett Mills. She was a member of South Albemarle Baptist Church. Her huband, J.D. Miller, preceded her in death in 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Joy Miller Johnson; a grandson, Forrest Christopher Johnson; three brothers, Albert Page, Robert “Shorty” Page and Thomas “Red” Page, all of Albemarle; a sister, Mattie Ruth Miller of Albemarle; and nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First St., Albemarle, NC 28001. Arrangements are by Hartsell Funeral Home.
