ASHEBORO - Pearlmon Clarence Pickett Sr., 83, of Hawthorne Drive, Asheboro, died Friday, April 5, 2002, at Asheboro Health and Rehabilitation.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. Sam Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Randolph County, a graduate of Farmer High School, a retired salesman and a member of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are wife, Mildred Ferree Pickett of the home; daughter, Janice P. Kearns of Asheboro; sons, Pearlmon C. "Buddy" Pickett Jr. of Conway, S.C., R. David Pickett of Star; sister, Annie P. Dorsett of Asheboro and Algie P. Caviness of Asheboro; brother, Johnny R. Pickett of Asheboro; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Sunday, other times at the residence.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
