Lena Ethelda Morgan, 95, of Gold Hill, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Novant Rowan Medical Center.
She was born on February 7, 1921 to Dossy and Norda Monroe Morgan in Moore County, NC. Lena worked as a Sewer for Rockwell Casket Company.
Lena was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Lena is survived by Two Sons, Bronnie Larry Morgan and wife Shelly of Salisbury, NC, Darrell Wayne Morgan of Atlantic Beach, NC; Five Granddaughters, Anita Lyn Honbarrier of Waynesboro, VA, Ashley Morgan Boulware and husband Gabe of Rockwell, Patsy Morgan Jenkins and husband Justin of Salisbury, Jody Morgan, Jennifer Morgan Hall of Salisbury; Four Grandsons, Jeffrey Allen Beck of Gold Hill, Dr. Brad Morgan and wife Sally of Sylva, Andy Morgan of Sylva, Jeff Morgan of Sylva; Sister, Wanda Caroline Leonard of Salisbury, NC; Daughter-in-law, Peggy Wolf of Sylva; and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by Husband, Walter Chauncey Morgan, and Son, Donald Clinton Morgan.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, 2:00 pm at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Salisbury, NC, with Rev. Gary S Coble, officiating.
