SALISBURY - Louise Lyerly Bostian, age 85, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, June 23, 2008, at Autumn Care of Salisbury.
She was born April 2, 1923, in Rowan County, daughter of the late Dovie Beaver Lyerly and Paul Hilbert Lyerly. Mrs. Bostian was a graduate of Granite Quarry High School and Catawba College. She was a member of First United Church of Christ.
She had a great personality, wacky sense of humor, loved dressing up at Halloween and always wore a crazy hat while mowing her yard.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Ralph A. Bostian, on March 21, 2001.
Survivors include her daughters, Heidi Bostian of Granite Quarry and Leisa Davenport and husband Kent of Rockwell; granddaughter Amanda Davenport; brother Claude Lyerly and wife Pauline of Granite Quarry; and sister-in-law Geneva Kirk.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, June 27 at First United Church of Christ conducted by Rev. Mike Childress with burial to follow at Christiana Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Lyerly Funeral Home.
Memorials: Nazareth Children's Home, Rockwell, NC.

SALISBURY - Louise Lyerly Bostian, age 85, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, June 23, 2008, at Autumn Care of Salisbury.
