“The Bean-Wyatt Cemetery is located off Brinkle Ferry Road on Cedar Creek. River Road runs next to the Yadkin River between Bringle Ferry Road and Stokes Ferry Road, in the eastern section of Rowan County. The cemetery is located on a section of land formerly owned by the Noah Park Sr family. When the owner, George A. Park died, his estate was insufficient to pay his debts. A petition, dated 18 Dec 1886, was to sell 100 acres of land to the highest bidder on 24 Feb 1887, 1/3 in cash, balance in 12 months with interest from the date of sale. The land was bought by James E. Wyatt for $585.00. Wyatt was a descendant of Rachel Park Wyatt, daughter of Noah Park Sr. The property is now owned by Dr. James Noah Hinson, descendant of Elizabeth Park Morgan, daughter of Noah Park Sr. Noah Park Sr died in 1820 [others have October 10, 1815] and is the oldest grave in the cemetery. The cemetery was documented by Patricia B. Beck and Mary Jane Fowler on 4 April 1983. There were 134 grave sites, many without stones or with stones and no markings.”

The only PARK included in the 1759 Rowan County Tax List is George PARK.

Noah Sr and Moses Park were brothers who moved to Rowan County from VA (now WV). [George B. Park].

The earlier ancestry is from George B. Park. "The documents I have say that Noah, Sr.'s father was John Park of Hampshire County, VA. He was born in Burlington County, NJ about 1705 and died in VA in 1758. His father was also John Park ca. 1687 - ca 1757, also born in Burlington County, NJ and died in Hampshire County, VA (now part of West Virginia). His father was Dr. Roger Park (1664-1755) who immigrated to America with his father, also Roger (ca.1638-ca.1698), in 1678 on the 'Shield'. There is some documentation of all this in the typewritten (unknown author and date) document I have."
