GOLD HILL -- Margaret Price Eagle, 77, Gold Hill, died Wednesday (June 16, 2004) at her home.
Born Sept. 15, 1926, in Catawba County, Mrs. Eagle was a daughter of the late Millard and Hettie Witherspoon Price.
Educated in the Catawba County Schools, she worked for the Salisbury Wal-Mart and earlier for Roses department stores in the area for 19 years.
She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and the 30th Division Old Hickory Group.
Her husband, Maurice Eidson Eagle, died Dec. 21, 1986.
Survivors include sons Maurice E. Eagle Jr. and Kenneth Michael Eagle, both of Gold Hill; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Lyerly Funeral Home, Salisbury, conducted by the Rev. Mark Helms, pastor, Liberty United Methodist Church. Burial, Rowan Memorial Park, Salisbury.
Visitation: 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home, and at other times, at the home.
Memorials: Muscular Dystrophy Association of N.C., Suite 109, 5501 Executive Center Drive, Charlotte, NC 28212; or Liberty United Methodist Church, 3640 Liberty Road, Gold Hill, NC 28071.
