SALISBURY - Myron L. Cauble , 92, of Salisbury died Sunday, December 16, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 1, 1915, at his parents farm on highway 29. He Graduated Bowling Green College of Commerce in 1939.
Mr. Cauble lived in Kannapolis and was a manager in the freight trailer business most of his commercial life working for Central Motor Lines, Keith Motor Lines, Old North State Brewers, and Great Dane Trailer among others.
In the mid 1970s, with his wife Reba E. Cauble, he moved to Salisbury as he resumed farming, his first love. He managed the old family farm, Highland Farms, for more than 20 years. He and his wife Reba have been members of Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church in Kannapolis for more than 66 years.
He was preceded in death by one sister Ruth Schott.
Survivors include his wife Reba Eagle Cauble of Salisbury; two sons Mike Cauble of Milwaukee, Wis., and Ron Cauble of Raleigh; three grandchildren, Robert Cauble of Austin, Tx., Emily Cauble of Chicago, Il., and Bridget Cauble of Milwaukee, Wis.; one brother Herman W. Cauble of Columbia, SC.
Service: A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church with Dr. Hoke Richie officiating. Private burial will be held at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
