Stetha Frick was a telephone operator in Charlotte, NC, in the 1920's. She married my father, William Joseph Cobb, Sr., in 1927. She died several months after the marriage following cancer surgery. The obit I found in the Charlotte papers of the time listed no survivors except my father. She died on a Friday and was buried by Douglas & Sing Funeral Home on Saturday, less than 24 hours after her death. She is buried here in Elmwood Cemetery in an unmarked grave.
